October 2025 - A Relaunch to Remember

Wellington Medicolegal Society talk on supported decision making, a large seated crowd surrounding the presentation

Our renewed inaugural event was a resounding success!

Led by the exceptional Erika Butters and Iris Reuvecamp, our session on Supported Decision Making drew such an enthusiastic crowd that we ran out of seats - a wonderful problem to have. Erika delivered a truly rousing talk that captivated attendees, sparking engaging discussions and fostering meaningful connections among medicolegal professionals passionate about advancing patient autonomy and legal frameworks. The energy in the room was electric as colleagues explored this vital intersection of healthcare rights and legal practice.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for this milestone moment, and to Erika for setting the bar incredibly high for what promises to be an exciting series of events. Here's to many more packed rooms and thought-provoking conversations ahead!
